INTRODUCTION OF PROPOSED OFF-STREET PARKING CONTROLS AND 'AT ANY TIME' WAITING RESTRICTIONS AT HOUSING ESTATE CAR PARKS AND GARAGES

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield ('the Council') propose to make the Enfield (Off-Street Parking Places) (Housing Estates and Other Residential Properties) (Amendment No. *) Order 20", and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No. ***) Order 20" under sections 6, 32, 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the 1984 Act'), as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:
(a) in the case of the Off-Street Parking Places Order, to extend formal off-street parking controls to the housing estate car park and garage sites listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice, which are to be provided for use as off-street parking places by the Council under the powers of section 32 of the 1984 Act, and set certain conditions for their use. These off-street parking places would comprise existing housing estate garages (which would continue to operate as per the terms of their licence), free parking bays, and restricted areas (marked with double-yellow lines) where parking would be prohibited at all times;
(b) in the case of the Waiting and Loading Restrictions Order, to introduce 'At any time' waiting restrictions, on the public highway at the locations listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice, so as to prevent obstructive parking at the vehicular accesses to or on the approach to certain of the above-mentioned off-street parking places.
3. Copies of the proposed Orders and all other relevant Orders and documents can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am - 5pm inclusive, or online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/

4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by 6 September 2023. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1533, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:

1. The off-street parking area and garage site located in Cranbrook Lane N11 to the rear of Nos. 416 to 422, 426 to 432, 436 to 442 and 446 to 452 Bowes Road N11.
2. The off-street parking area and garage site located in the Access Road to the rear of Nos. 30 to 38 Capel Road EN1;
3. The off-street parking area and garage site located to the rear of Nos. 803 to 859 Great Cambridge Road EN1;
4. The off-street parking areas and garage sites located in Heaths Close EN1;
5. The off-street parking area and garage site located to the side of Nos. 19 and 21a Lancaster Road EN2 and outside and to the rear of nos. 1 to 21 a Lancaster Road EN2;
6. The off-street parking area and garage site located to the rear of Nos. 10 to 20 Manor Farm Road EN1;
