What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHRISTCHURCH ROAD, RINGWOOD, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Christchurch Road between its junction with B3347 Mansfield Road and its junction with Southampton Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Southampton Road, B3347.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th August 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 7 days between the hours 24/7). Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
