KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(NETTLETON HILL ROAD, SCAPEGOAT HILL, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Nettleton Hill Road, Scapegoat Hill from its junction with Round Ings Road to its junction with New Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Nettleton Hill Road, School Lane, High Street, New Lane.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 4th September 2023 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PORTLAND STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Portland Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Trinity Street to its junction with Fitzwilliam Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Trinity Street, Fitzwilliam Street, Portland Street

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 5 September 2023 and will remain in force until 7 September (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CALDER VALLEY GREENWAY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Calder Valley Greenway, Huddersfield Cycle Way from its junction with Enterprise Way to the Access from Cycle Path/Cycle Way from Access to Cycle Path to Dalton Bank Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Bog Green Lane, Colne Bridge Road, Leeds Road, Enterprise Way and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 4 September 2023 and will remain in force until 27 October 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months).

(PARK ROAD, CROSLAND MOOR/LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Road, Crosland Moor/Lockwood from its junction with Yew Green Road to its junction with Blackmoorfoot Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Blackmoorfoot Road, Nabcroft Lane, Yew Green Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 21st August 2023 and remain in force until 27th August 2023 between 09:30 - 15:30 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WILLOW LANE, FARTOWN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Willow Lane, Fartown, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 20 to its junction with Halifax Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-

Diversion 1 - via the unaffected length of Willow Lane, St John’s Road, Castlegate, Bradford Road

Diversion 2 - via Bradford Road, Northgate, Castlegate, St John’s Road, the unaffected length of Willow Lane.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 22nd August 2023 and remain in force until 30th August 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOODHOUSE LANE, EMLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodhouse Lane, Emley from a point outside Bentley Grange Feeds Site to its junction with Wakefield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Woodhouse Lane, Ash Lane, Hag Hill Lane, Kiln Lane, Wakefield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday, 20th August 2023 and remain in force until 23rd August 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WAKEFIELD ROAD/DENBY DALE ROAD, CLAYTON WEST/MIDGLEY, HUDDERSFIELD/WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed in excess of 30 mph in that length of Wakefield Road/Denby Dale Road, Clayton West/Midgley from its junction with Litherop Lane to a point approximately 650 metres north of Woodhouse Lane on Denby Dale Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the restriction will commence on Sunday, 20th August 2023 and remain in force until 23rd August 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CLOTH HALL STREET/CHANCERY LANE/NEW STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Huddersfield:- Cloth Hall Street - from its junction with New Street to its junction with Market Street Chancery Lane - from its junction with Westgate to its junction with Cloth Hall Street New Street - from its junction with Westgate to its junction with Cloth Hall Street

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Westgate, Trinity Street, Castlegate, Market Street.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Sunday, 20th August 2023 between 08:00 - 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GREAVE ROAD, HADE EDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Hade Edge, Holmfirth:-

Road Closure, Greave Road - from its junction with Penistone Road to a point outside Hade Edge Junior and Infant School

Point Closure
Dunford Road - at its junction with Greave Road

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Greave Road, Cote Lane, Choppards Bank Road, Rich Gate, Dunford Road, Penistone Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 25th August 2023 and remain in force until 3rd September 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD, DEIGHTON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of cycle lane on Leeds Road, Deighton, Huddersfield from its junction with Deighton Road to its junction with Neptune Way PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative route for cyclists affected by the closure will be available via the adjacent traffic lane.

The closure will commence on Tuesday, 22nd August 2023 and remain in force until 1st September 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ACCESS TO 115-123 HUDDERSFIELD ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Access to 115-123 Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth from its junction with Wood Lane to the end of Access to 115-123 Huddersfield Road

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 21st August 2023 and remain in force until 4th September 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LOWER WELLHOUSE ROAD, WELLHOUSE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Wellhouse Road, Wellhouse, Huddersfield from its junction with Low Westwood Lane to its junction with Copley Bank Road

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Lower Wellhouse Road, Radcliffe Road, Clough Road, Crimble Clough Road, Slaithwaite Gate, Pike Law Road, Swallow Lane, Town End, Church Street, Knowl Road, James Street, Brook Lane, Share Hill Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 24th August 2023 between 09:30 - 14:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(COMMERCIAL ROAD, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Commercial Road, Skelmanthorpe from a point outside property no. 148 to a point outside property no. 160 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Commercial Road, Busker Lane, Wakefield Road, Barnsley Road, Lane Head Road, Abbey Road South, Abbey Road North, Abbey Road, Penistone Road, North Road, George Street, Huddersfield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 25th August 2023 between 19:00 - 22:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
