Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

Hubbards Hill, Sevenoaks Weald.​ TN13 1TP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of deck refurbishment on the bridge structure over the A21, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Hubbards Hill, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 21st August 2023 until 30th November 2023 or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Gracious Lane and Church Road.

The alternative route is via Gracious Lane, A225 Tonbridge Road/Riverhill, Morleys Road, Glebe Road and vice versa.

 

Ide Hill Road, Sundridge. TN14 6AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ide Hill Road, Sundridge, on or after 6th September 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside High Bank.

The alternative route is via Sundridge Road, Ide Hill Roundabout, Ide Hill Roundabout To Wheatsheaf Hill, B2042 Wheatsheaf Hill, Cold Arbor Road, A25 Westerham Road/Main Road, Church Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

NEW BARN ROAD, SWANLEY (PROHIBITION OF EASTBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because a concert is being held in Swanley Park, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting eastbound traffic on New Barn Road, Swanley, on or after 25 August 2023 for up to 1 evening between 16.00hrs and 21.30.

The alternative route is via College Road, B258 Main Road/Swanley Lane.

 

Pilgrims Way, Kemsing. TN15 6GD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, on or after 4th September 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Blaricum.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Cotmans Ash Lane, Heaverham Road, High Street, West End, The Landway and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

The Street, Horton Kirby. DA4 9BY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Horton Kirby, on or after 4th September 2023 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Kirby Hall.

The alternative route is via The Street, Lombard Street, Rays Hill and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Row Dow, Otford.​ TN14 5SA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of highway improvement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Row Dow, Otford, on or after 21st August 2023 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is via Row Dow, Row Dow Lane, Fackenden Lane, A225 Shoreham Road, Pilgrims Way East and vice versa.
