What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
A206 Bob Dunn Way, Dartford. DA1 5BU (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of grid connection, substation civil and cable works, Kent County Council has made an Order for a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30mph to be imposed eastbound on part of A206 Bob Dunn Way, Dartford, on or after 21st August 2023 for up to 56 days or until the works have been completed.
The speed limit will be imposed eastbound between A206 Thames Road and Joyce Green Lane.
A2026 Victoria Road, Dartford. DA1 5AE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Southern Gas Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A2026 Victoria Road, Dartford, on or after 26th August 2023 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Hythe Street and Victoria Business Park.
The alternative route is via A206 Burnham Road/Bob Dunn Way/Littlebrook Interchange, B228 Cotton Lane, A226 London Road/The Brent/East Hill/Home Gardens/Hythe Street and vice versa.
B255 Whitehill Road, Southfleet. DA13 9AQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B255 Whitehill Road, Southfleet, on or after 21st August 2023 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Wood Yard.
The alternative route is via B255 Whitehill Road, B260 Green Street Green Road, B262 Sandbanks Hill, B255 Highcross Road and vice versa.
Hook Green Road, Southfleet. DA13 9AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hook Green Road, Southfleet, on or after 5th September 2023 for up to 1 night between 19.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Fred Mead.
The alternative route is via Hook Green Road, B255 Highcross Road, B262 Betsham Road/Station Road, Dale Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works
