What is happening?
Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72620, The Vauld, Marden, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72620, The Vauld, Marden, between the junction of Urdimarsh Road and Hope Lodge. Grid Ref: 353209/249455. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1125 onto Gravel Lane onto Litmarsh Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to reinstatement defect remedials works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of September 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
