What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(EFFINGHAM ROAD, ST. ANDREWS, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Effingham Road from Belvoir Road to Chesterfield Road.
The Order is required because water service lead replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 11th September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 11th September 2023 and 13th September 2023).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Belvoir Road, Chesterfield Avenue, Chesterfield Road and vice versa

(THE BOULEVARD, HENGROVE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of The Boulevard from 64 metres south west of Hengrove Promenade to Christopher Brain Street.
The Order is required because gas works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 11th September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 11th September 2023 and 12th September 2023).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Boulevard (part unaffected), Hengrove Promenade, Hanger Way, Christopher Brain Street

(MEAD STREET, TOTTERDOWN, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit, temporarily, any vehicle waiting in that length of Mead Street, south side, from 28 metres north east of its junction with St. Luke’s Road north eastwards for 55 metres.
Note: the shared use permit parking and pay & display parking places in the above length will be suspended while this Order is in effect.
The Order is required to allow safe egress and access to construction vehicles during works that are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 11th September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the prohibition may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works.

(HEATHERDENE AND PINECROFT AND ROWBERROW FOOTPATHS, HENGROVE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians that length of Heatherdene and Pinecroft and Rowberrow footpaths which extends from the north westernmost arm of Ashcott, Alverstoke and Penrose footpaths to the south easternmost arm of Ashcott, Alverstoke and Penrose footpaths.
The Order is required because gas mains works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the footpaths and will be operative from 11th September 2023 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 11th September 2023 and 29th October 2023).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashcott, Alverstoke and Penrose footpaths (north westernmost arm), Bamfield, Ashcott, Alverstoke and Penrose footpaths (south easternmost arm) and vice versa
