DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn cynnal tyllau prawf mewn cysylltiad â datblygu’r Orsaf Metro newydd.

Effaith y Gorchymyn bydd cau Heol Caerdydd, o’i chyffordd â Ffordd y Fynwent hyd at bwynt 140 metr i’r gogledd-orllewin o’i chyffordd â Ffordd Bleddyn

Llwybr amgen - ar gael o ochr ogleddol y ffordd sydd wedi cau, ewch ar hyd yr A4054 Heol Caerdydd, Cylchfan Stryd Rhydychen, Cylchfan Nantgarw, yr A470, Cylchfan Ffynnon Taf a Heol Caerdydd i ochr ddeheuol y ffordd sydd wedi cau.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr.

Mae disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau ar benwythnosau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau: -

• Rhwng 8pm ddydd Gwener 8 Medi tan 5am ddydd Llun 11 Medi 2023
• Rhwng 8pm ddydd Gwener 15 Medi tan 5am ddydd Llun 18 Medi 2023
• Rhwng 8pm ddydd Gwener 22 Medi tan 5am ddydd Llun 25 Medi 2023

Bydd disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau am 2 o’r cyfnodau uchod - bydd arwyddion rhybuddio’ncael eu gosod ar y safle 7 diwrnod cyn pob cyfnod er mwyn rhoi g wybod i’r cyhoedd ymlaen llaw.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CARDIFF ROAD, TAFFS WELL)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to carry out trial holes in connection with the development of the new Metro Station

The effect of the Order will be to close Cardiff Road, from its junction with Cemetery Road, to a point 140 metres north-west of its junction with Ffordd Bleddyn

Alternative route - available from the northern side of the closure, proceed via A4054 Cardiff Road, Oxford Street Roundabout, Nantgarw Roundabout, A470, Taffs Well Roundabout and Cardiff Road to the southern side of the closure.

If travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the above directions.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians.
Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency service vehicles.
Access to premises will be maintained.

The closure is expected to be in operation on weekends between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• Between 8pm Friday 8th September to 5am Monday 11th September 2023
• Between 8pm Friday 15th September to 5am Monday 18th September 2023
• Between8pm Friday 22nd September to 5am Monday 25th September 2023

It is expected that 2 of above temporary closures will be required - advanced warning signs will be placed on site 7 days prior to each closure to inform the public.
