U2014 COMMON FLAT JUNCTION
TO LUCKER JUNCTION CHATHILL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2014 Common Flat Junction To Lucker Junction from its junction with the U2023 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 920 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st August 2023 until the 2nd December 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st August 2023 until the 7th September 2023 between the hours of 20:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd December 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U2022, U2023 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by National Highways due to resurfacing works on the A1. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
