(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C80 Boulmer Road Longhoughton from its junction with the B1339 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 126 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th September 2023 until the 3rd March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 4th September 2023 until the 8th September 2023 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C80, B1339 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out the felling of three trees and to also carry out pruning of the canopy. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
