We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using, A170 - Sutton Road, Thirsk, A61 - Finkle Street, Thirsk, A61 - Millgate, Thirsk, A61 - Market Place, Thirsk, A61 - Westgate, Thirsk, B1448 - Kirkgate, Thirsk, C91 - Stillington Road, Easingwold, C426 -Bedale Road, Aiskew for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 21/08/23 & 20/02/25, due to works. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using, Uckerby Hall Road - Uckerby, Near Scorton (In its entirety), Uckerby Grange Road - Uckerby, Near Scorton (In its entirety) Eshington Lane - Thoralby (From its junction with Westholme Bank south westwards for an approximate distance of 500 metres), Hargill - Swinithwaite (From a point approximately 50 metres south of its junction with the A684 south-westwards for an approximate distance of 500 metres), Quakers Lane - Richmond (From its junction with Hurgill Road eastwards for an approximate distance of 200 metres), Richmond To Half Penny House Road (From a point approximately 600 metres north east of its junction with Plumer Road south westwards to a point approximately 600 metres south west of its junction with Plumer Road), Green Howards Road - Richmond (From its junction with Gallowgate south-westwards for an approximate distance of 200 metres), Brunt Acres Road - Hawes (In its entirety), A6108 Victoria Road - Richmond (From its junction with the A6108 Queens Road for an approximate distance of 100 metres in a westerly direction), A6108 Queens Road / Pottergate - Richmond (From its junction with the A6108 Victoria Road north-eastwards to its junction with the B6274 Gilling Road), A6108 -Skeeby (From a point approximately 100 metres south of the 30 Mph signs at the western end of the village north eastwards to a point approximately 100 metres north of the 30 Mph signs at the eastern end of the village) for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 21 /08/23 & 31 /03/24, for short periods of time, due to works. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using the following sections of the A6108 roads. A6108 North Of Middleham (From the bridge over the River Ure northwards to its junction with Low Lane) - 14/08/23-25/08/23.A6108 South East Of Walburn Head (From its junction with Stainton Lane south eastwards to its continuation of the A6108 at 'Half Penny House') - 29/08/23 & 30/08/23.A6108 West Of Richmond (From its junction with the entrance to 'Round Howe Car Park' in Richmond westwards to its junction with the B6270) - 31/08/23 until 12/09/23. (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING)(AMENDMENT NO TBC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Richmondshire) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-
Richmond, Castle Hill, South East side from Its junction with Castle Wynd to A point 76 metres south west of the junction of the northern side of Castle Hill with the southern side of New Road (except where indicated for Disc Parking), no waiting at any time. Richmond, Castle Hill, Northwest side, form its junction with the southern side of New ride for a distance of 76 meters in a south westerly direction, no waiting at any time. Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 & Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 The North Yorkshire Council Public Footpath Nos 10.156/2 And 10.156/8, Thornton Park Estate, Thornton-le-Moor With Thornton-le-Street, Diversion Order 2023
The above Order, made on 28.07.23, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the Public Footpath described below.
Public Footpath 10.156/8 between SE 4032 8540 and SE 4020 8547 will be diverted onto a new route over estate grassland in a north west direction between SE 4032 8540 and SE 4026 8549. Public Footpath 10.156/2 between SE 4020 8547 and SE 3968 8631 will be diverted onto a new route over estate grassland in a northwest direction between SE 4026 8549 and SE 3968 8631. Public Footpath 10.156/2 between SE 3960 8649 & SE 3957 8663 will be diverted onto a new route along a track in a north northwest direction between SE 3960 8649 & SE 3957 8663. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Byng Road, Catterick Garrison, from its junction with St Johns Road southwards to its junction with the A6136 Catterick Road for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 07/08/23 & 02/02/25, due to works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 07/08/23 until 01/09/23. NOTICE is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour on the length of road specified in table 1 below and in excess of 40 miles per hour on the length of road specified in table 2 below:-

NOTICE is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Richmondshire) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Richmond, Frances Road, South Side from opposite the boundary line of No 5 and No 7 Frances road to east for 6.6mtrs (two bays), disabled bays restricted. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 07/08/23, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Richmond Library, Queen's Road, Richmond DL10 4AE during normal office hours from 04/08/23 to 08/09/23 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks of 28th July 2023 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
