NOTICE is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Richmondshire) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 & Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 The North Yorkshire Council Public Footpath Nos 10.156/2 And 10.156/8, Thornton Park Estate, Thornton-le-Moor With Thornton-le-Street, Diversion Order 2023

The above Order, made on 28.07.23, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will divert the Public Footpath described below.

Public Footpath 10.156/8 between SE 4032 8540 and SE 4020 8547 will be diverted onto a new route over estate grassland in a north west direction between SE 4032 8540 and SE 4026 8549. NOTICE is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour on the length of road specified in table 1 below and in excess of 40 miles per hour on the length of road specified in table 2 below:-
