Willerby Low Road - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Repair Works
What is happening?
EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(PART OF WILLERBY LOW ROAD, COTTINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Willerby Low Road, Cottingham between Main Street, Willerby and Castle Road, Cottingham.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed carriageway repair works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 21 August 2023 and 28th August 2023.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Castle Road, A164 Beverley Road, Willerby roundabout and vice versa.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians, residents and for emergency services.
The Order will commence on 21 August 2023, and continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is earlier.
