Harden Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HARDEN ROAD, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Harden Road, Bingley has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Harden Road from its junction with Altar Lane to its junction with Millgate.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Harden Road (unaffected section), Wilsden Road, Harden Lane, Main Street, Haworth Road, Wilsden Road, Cottingley Road, Cottingley Moor Road, Cottingley New Road, Bradford Road, Sire Fred Hoyle Way, Ferncliffe Road, Main Street, Millgate and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 14th August 2023 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 25th August 2023 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
