Cowley Road, Sparkbrook & Balsall Heath East - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2) (COWLEY ROAD, SPARKBROOK & BALSALL HEATH EAST) (T2324191) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering or proceeding in either direction along COWLEY ROAD, SPARKBROOK & BALSALL HEATH EAST for its entire length.
The Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic is required to allow water maintenance works in the carriageway to be undertaken in safety.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffc signs prescribed by The Traffc Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Manor Farm Road, and Morcom Road.
The Order will come into operation on 31st August 2023 and will remain in force for a period of SIX WEEKS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
