What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (“ROAD FROM HOLLY WATER BRIDGE TO TOWER HILL CROSS” & “ROAD FROM ST MARYS COTTAGE TO HOLLY WATER BRIDGE”, CHERITON FITZPAINE / STOCKLEIGH ENGLISH) ORDER 2023
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 4/9/23 for a maximum of 18 months. 
Anticipated Finish 12/9/23. Between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Afected Roads. 
Roads afected: “ROAD FROM HOLLY WATER BRIDGE TO TOWER HILL CROSS” & “ROAD FROM ST MARYS COTTAGE TO HOLLY WATER BRIDGE”, CHERITON FITZPAINE / STOCKLEIGH ENGLISH 
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - STOCKLEIGH CROSS, STOCKLEIGH ENGLISH, CREDITON CROSS, POUGHILL, LEYS CROSS, CODDIFORD CROSS & VICE VERSA. 
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: ERECTION OF NEW TELEGRAPH POLES WITH AERIAL JOINTING & CABLING TO BE CARRIED OUT. For additional information contact: SUNBELT RENTALS UK. Telephone: 0370 050 0792
