Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
(RTRA 1984)

The County of Cornwall (Alexandra Road, St Ives) 
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th September 2023 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Alexandra Road, St Ives between the junction of Alexandra Closure and St Ives Rugby Football Club

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives. This prohibition is necessary for telecom works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th September 2023 to 14th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Belyars Lane, St Ives between the junction of Dynas Ia Road and grid reference SW51765 39990

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 7th August 2023 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Erth. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th August 2023 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekends included.

Road affected - School Lane, St Erth between the junction of Fore Street and Boscarnek.

This prohibition is necessary for telecom works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th September 2023 to 16th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekends included. Road affected - Sea Lane, Hayle between the junctions of Commercial Road and Mount Pleasant

This prohibition is necessary for gully desilting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th September 2023 to 12th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1930 and 0500, weekdays only. 

Road affected - The Coombe, Newlyn between the junctions of Lower Gurnick Road and Chywoone Hill

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lelant. This prohibition is necessary for water main works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th September 2023 to 22nd September 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Trencrom Lane To Coach Road, Lelant between grid references SW52656 37606 and SW52815 37734
