HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Torfaen, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, nid llai na saith niwrnod ar 61 dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw draffig rhag teithio ar hyd rhan o Llantarnam Park Way, Cwmbran.

Mae'r ffordd amgen ar hyd Cwmbran Drive, Newport Road ac i'r gwrthwyneb. (Cedwir mynediad i drigolion a'r gwasanaethau brys cyhyd ag sy'n rhesymol ymarferol).

Mae'r gwaharddiad yn angenrheidiol oherwydd bod gwaith yn cael ei wneud ar neu'n agos at yr heol i ganiatau i graen godi gwydr i do Pencadlys Heddlu Gwent.

Bydd y Gorchymyn arfaethedig mewn grym o 8am - 6pm ddydd Sul 20fed Awst 2023 a dydd Sul 3ydd Medi 2023 am 2 ddiwrnod ac unrhyw ddiwrnodau eraill yr ystyrir eu bod yn angenrheidiol o fewn cyfnod nad yw'n fwy na 18 mis.

SECTION I4(1)(A) (AS AMENDED)

LLANTARNAM PARKWAY, CWMBRAN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along a section of Llantarnam Park Way, Cwmbran.

The alternative route is along Cwmbran Drive, Newport Road and vice versa. (Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained as far as is reasonably practicable).

The prohibition is necessary because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to allow a crane to lift replacement glass onto the roof of Gwent Police Headquarters.

The proposed Order will operate from 8am -6pm Sunday 20th August 2023 and Sunday 3rd September 2023 for 2 days and any other days deemed necessary within a period not exceeding 18 months.
