Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U23412 Barkers Lane, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of U23412 Barkers Lane from its junction with A435 Alcester Road for a distance of 375 metres in a North Easterly direction.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A435 Alcester Highway, Junction 3 roundabout (M42), Forshaw Heath Lane (Warwickshire), Forshaw Heath Road (Warwickshire), Mill Lane (Warwickshire), C2040 Mill Lane, C2040 Tanners Green Lane.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 4 September 2023.
(U31200 Birmingham Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of U31200 Birmingham Road from its junction with B4184 Middlehouse Lane to its junction with U32000 Easemore Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route:
Diversion 1 - B4184 Middlehouse Lane, A441 Alvechurch Highway Southbound, A4023 Coventry Highway, B4160 Redditch Ringway, A441 Alvechurch Highway Northbound.
Diversion 2 - B4184 Middlehouse Lane, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway, B4160 Redditch Ringway, U3129 Adelaide Street, U31207 Church Road, U3100 Church Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 12 days.
Commencing: 14 August 2023.
(A435 Alcester Road, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of A435 Alcester Road from its junction with A435 Becketts Roundabout to its junction with C2040 Tanners Green Lane.
Reason: Installation works of new CAB and BT pole by Centurion Traffic Management.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A435 Hollywood Bypass into city border of Birmingham, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441 Roundabout: Junction 2 of the M42, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway, A435 Alcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 5 nights (21:00-05:00).

(U30032 Castle Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of U30032 Castle Street from its junction with C2038 Feckenham Road to its junction with C2038 Church Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2038 Church Road, C2038 Feckenham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 5 days.

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2034 Rowney Green Lane from its junction with C2001 Radford Road for a distance of 420 metres in a south easterly direction.
Reason: Water utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2001 Radford Road, C2001 The Square, C2291 Swan Street, C2291 Redditch Road, C2034 The Holloway, C2034 Rowney Green Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 4 September 2023.
(Link Footpath F30466 Coldfield Drive (between 4/5 Four Oaks Close), Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F30466 Coldfield Drive (between 4/5 Four Oaks Close), Redditch from its junction with Four Oaks Close car park (private) for a distance of 40 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Link Footpath F30466, divorced footway along C2101 Coldfield Drive, Linked Footpath F30466 and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months.
Anticipated duration: 5 days.
