What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WALTHAM CROSS DURING THE ‘EASTERN ELECTRICS’ MUSIC EVENT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads:- 
a) that length of A121 (Eleanor Cross Road/Station Road), Waltham Cross from its junction with the A1010 Monarchs Way roundabout south eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1222m.
An alternative route will be via A1010 (Monarchs Way/High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/ Station Road).
b) that length of Trust Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with York Road south eastwards to its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road, a distance of approximately 133m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.
c) that length of York Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with Queens Road southwards to its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road, a distance of approximately 56m.
An alternative route will be via York Road, King Edward Road, Queens Road and A121 Eleanor Cross Road.
d) that length of Station Approach, Waltham Cross from its westernmost junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road southwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and northwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.
e) that length of Lea Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with A121 Station Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 300m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.
f) that length of Eleanor Way, Waltham Cross from its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road north westwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 175m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.
g) that length of Bryanstone Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 180m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Lea Road into A121 Station Road, Waltham Cross for the duration of the event.
An alternative route will be via A121 (Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road), A1010 (Monarchs Way/ High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road).

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Queens Drive into A121 Station Road, Waltham Cross for the duration of the event.
An alternative route will be via A121 (Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road), A1010 (Monarchs Way/ High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road).
4. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Longcroft Drive into A121 Station Road, Waltham Cross for the duration of the event.
An alternative route will be via A121 (Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road), A1010 (Monarchs Way/ High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road).

5. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Eleanor Way into A121 Eleanor Cross Road, Waltham Cross for the duration of the event.
An alternative route will be via A121 Eleanor Cross Road, A1010 (Monarchs Way/High Street/ Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road).

6. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Bryanstone Road into A121 Eleanor Cross Road, Waltham Cross for the duration of the event.
An alternative route will be via A121 Eleanor Cross Road, A1010 (Monarchs Way/High Street/ Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road).

7. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from the access road leading to ‘Lea Valley White Water Centre’ into A121 Station Road, Waltham Cross for the duration of the event.
An alternative route will be via A121 (Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road), A1010 (Monarchs Way/ High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road).
AND NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council, acting as agents for and with the consent of the Essex County Council, intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A121 Station Road, Waltham Cross from a point 522 m north east of its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road north eastwards to its junction with A121 Meridian Way, a distance of approximately 540 m.
An alternative route will be via A121 (Station Road/Eleanor Cross Road), A1010 (Monarchs Way/ High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 Meridian Way.
The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent traffic congestion for the duration of ‘Eastern Electrics’ music event.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 August 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FROGS HALL LANE, STANDON AND 3U136 (UNNAMED ROAD), WELLPOND GREEN) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Frogs Hall Lane, Standon from its junction with 3U136 (unnamed road) south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with A120 Stortford Road, a distance of approximately 611m.
An alternative route will be via 3U136 (unnamed road), A120 Stortford Road, High Street, Hadham Road, 3U40 (unnamed road) and 3U136 (unnamed road).

2. that length of 3U136 (unnamed road), Wellpond Green from its junction with 3U40 (unnamed road) north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Broken Green Lane, a distance of approximately 452m.
An alternative route will be via 3U40 (unnamed road), Hadham Road, High Street, A120 Stortford Road and 3U136 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 August 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C10 (UNNAMED ROAD), BRENT PELHAM) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C10 (unnamed road), Brent Pelham from its junction with Mill Lane south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Anstey Road, a distance of approximately 1561m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Mill Lane, C11 (unnamed road), Lincoln Hill, B1368 (unnamed road), B1038 Conduit Lane/unnamed road) and C10 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 August 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HONEYBOURNE, BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Honeybourne, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Villiers Sur Marne Avenue south eastwards, north eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 August 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HORSESHOE HILL, GREAT HORMEAD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Horseshoe Hill, Great Hormead from its junction with B1038 (unnamed road) south eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B1038 (unnamed road), B1368 (unnamed road), Worsted Lane, Horseshoe Lane and Horseshoe Hill.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 August 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1004 GREAT HADHAM ROAD, MUCH HADHAM) ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1004 Great Hadham Road, Much Hadham from a point 153 metres south west of its westernmost junction with Aerodrome Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 135m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B1004 Great Hadham Road, A1184 (St James Way/London Road/ Cambridge Road/London Road/Bonks Hill/Harlow Road/Cambridge Road), A414 (Edinburgh Way/ Fifth Avenue/Eastwick Road), B181 (Station Road/High Street/Roydon Road), B180 (Hunsdon Road/Stanstead Road/High Street/Widford Road/Hunsdon Road) and B1004 (High Street/Medcalf Hill/Widford Road/Tower Hill/High Street/Winding Hill/ Great Hadham Road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 August 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (BOWLING GREEN LANE, BUNTINGFORD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions in part of Buntingford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 21 August 2023.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are held on deposit and may be viewed from 10 August 2023 to 21 September 2023 during normal office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or may also be viewed online from 10 August 2023 at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting East Herts and looking at Ref: EH01222

SCHEDULE: No waiting at any time – affecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan – Parts of Bowling Green Lane, between White Hart Close and the entrance to the High Street Car Park.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (CRANE MEAD AND CODDINGTON CLOSE, WARE) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions in parts of Ware as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 14 August 2023.
