What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Charles Watts Way, West End, Eastleigh
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow an event to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Charles Watts Way (towards junction 7 only) between its junction with Kanes Hill Roundabout and its junction with Hedge End Interchange Junction 7.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Down A27 to Windhover Roundabout, A3024 to Windhover Interchange with M27 Jct 8, M27 back up to Jct 7.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 16th August 2023 for a maximum period of 6 months or until completion of the event whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for the dates the 16th August 2023 (19:00-23:30), the 19th August 2023 (19:00-23:30) and the 10th September (15:00-21:30).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the events are being carried out.
