THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SOUTHWELL ROAD, FARNSFIELD) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT)
(RESTRICTED ROAD) ORDER 2023 (3370)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Farnsfield in the District of Newark and Sherwood in the County of Nottinghamshire.
1. The lengths of road specified in the Schedule 1 of this Order shall be a Restricted Road (30mph) for the purposes of Section 81 of the Act.

*From a point 39 metres northwest the north-western kerb line of its junction with Esam Close in a south-easterly direction for 19 metres
2. The length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order shall have a speed limit of 30mph
SOUTHWELL ROAD, FARNSFIELD
*From a point 20 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of its junction with Esam Close in a south-easterly direction to a point 45 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Esam Close.

The proposed extension to the 30mph Speed Limit is being introduced to correct an anomaly as the start of the 30 mph on Southwell Road is no longer in the appropriate location since the building of the new housing development on Esam Close on the edge of the village.
