What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Emsworth Road, Emsworth, Havant
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Emsworth Road between its junction with Meadowlands to outside number 14 Emsworth Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Route A: Emsworth Road, East Street, North Street, Elm Lane, Park Road South, A27, Green Pond Corner Route B: Southleigh Road, Horndean Road, Bartons Road, Petersfield Road, Park Road North DURATION OF ORDER: from 23rd August 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day between the hours 1900-0600). Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out. A copy of this notice may be viewed at: www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices.
