What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – FUNTLEY ROAD/FUNTLEY HILL, FAREHAM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Funtley Hill and Funtley Road between its junction with St Francis Public Transportation Station and a point 80 metres East of The Waters.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Highlands Road, A27, Fontley Road, River Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: from 23rd August 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
