(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Stoke Climsland. This prohibition is necessary for overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th September 2023, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Higher Lidwell Farm To Junction North Of Hampt Wood, Stoke Climsland between grid references SX 38830:74261 and SX 39229:74446.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 7th August 2023 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 20 MPH over an area of highway being Cleers Hill, North Road, Roche between Cleers Cottage and The Cottage and between Hillside and Cleers Cottage for approximately 1140 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works to install new gravity sewer and manhole chambers are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 18th August 2023 and the works are expected to be completed by the 13th October 2023.

The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for construction works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st September 2023 to 1st March 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for works to lining renewal and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st August 2023 to 23rd August 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.
