NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/08/2023 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council safely undertake footway patching, drainage works, Forestry works and any other various Utility and highway maintenance works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: A6 to Birstall and return.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake repair and maintenance works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 28/8/2023 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 18 months.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow ECL on behalf of Davidsons and Barwood Homes to undertake carriageway improvement works and LCC to carry out various highway maintenance works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the order will come into force on the 31/08/2023 and have a duration of 6 months. 

The first event will commence when the appropriate signs are erected. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow for the Victory Show in Cosby to go ahead.

During the closures, any alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed at roadworks.org and will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/08/2023 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 week.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Glympton Construction Limited acting on behalf of AR Cartwright Limited and their appointed contractors to undertake required development work.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Main Road, Sheepy Road, Twycross; Twycross Road Sheepy Magna; Orton Lane, Sheepy; Sheepy Lane, Main Street, Orton On The Hill; Twycross Lane, Twycross and vice versa.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Network Rail safely undertake renewal works at the level crossing and any other various Utility and highway maintenance works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Main Street, Thrussington Road (Ratcliffe on the Wreake), Ratcliffe Road, Rearsby Road (Thrussington), Station Road, Brookside, Melton Road (Rearsby) and vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 12/08/2023 and have a maximum duration of 4 months.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 7 days.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow STW and their contractors to undertake the installation of new apparatus.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Thornton Lane, Stanton under Bardon; Stanton Lane, Main Street, Markfield Lane, Thornton; Broad Lane, Elliots Lane, Cliffe Hill Road, Stanton under Bardon and vice versa.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow City Fibre to excavate and install ducting and infrastructure. The proposed diversion route will be via: Launde Road, Quiney Way, Belleville Drive, Oadby.
