What is happening?
KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO. 05) ORDER 2023
HUDDERSFIELD ROAD AND NEW ROAD, HOLMFIRTH
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees has made the above Order under their powers in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which, as it affects lengths of road in the Holmfirth area of the Kirklees district, will be to:
Prohibit the waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:-
1. Huddersfield Road, Thongsbridge, Holmfirth
a) North-west side from its junction with New Road for a distance of 73 metres in a north-easterly direction
b) South-east side from the boundary of Nos. 176/170 for a distance of 54 metres in a south-westerly direction
c) South-east side from a point 14 metres north-east of the boundary of Nos.176/170 Huddersfield Road for a distance of 29 metres in a north-easterly direction
2. New Road, Netherthong, Holmfirth
North side from its junction with Huddersfield Road for a distance of 10 metres westwards
This Order was made on 01 August 2023 and will take effect on 08 August 2023.

Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it, have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 08 August 2023.
