NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

(a) As part of in-process and completed public highway adoptions in the borough and on-going regeneration development works it is considered that certain lengths of public highway should be kept clear of parked vehicles to ensure motorists and pedestrian safety, prevent obstructive parking, and allow adequate traffic flow.

The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to introduce new length of 'at any time' waiting restrictions as follows:

(b) Edge Hill Avenue N3 -Northwest side between the common boundary of No.7 and No.9 Edge Hill Avenue and the junction of A406 North Circular Road.

(c) Edge Hill Avenue N3 - Southeast side between the common boundary of No.6 and No.8 Edge Hill Avenue and the junction of A406 North Circular Road.

(d) Beechwood Avenue N3 - Northeast side between the common boundary of No.57 and No.59 Beechwood Avenue and the junction of A406 North Circular Road.

Beechwood Avenue N3 - Southwest side between the southeastern flank wall of No.66 Beechwood Avenue and the junction of A406 North Circular Road.

In order to accommodate the introduction of 'dropped kerb' vehicle crossovers to enable access to off-street parking facilities in relation to a new housing development, the general effect of the Orders would be to remove existing parking spaces and replace with yellow line waiting restrictions outside the locations as follows:

In order to provide a parking facility to a disabled blue badge holder who met the qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders would be to provide a designated disabled parking bay for use by a motorist in their vehicle who display both a valid disabled blue badge and a dedicated disabled permit which would be applicable to each bay, outside No.111 Erskine Hill, London, NW11.

A copy of the proposed Orders, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 7th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR530, to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
