Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ROBINCROFT ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 31 July 2023 to 01 August 2023
WHERE: Robincroft Road, from its junction with Park View Close to outside number 44
REASON: Telecom works
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Robincroft Road – Cornhill – St Edmunds Close – Robincroft Road and the same in the opposite direction.
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF RIGHT TURN ORDER ON RIBER DRIVE, DERBY
WHEN: 14 August 2023 to 11 September 2023
WHERE: Riber Drive, suspension of right turn onto Swarkestone Road
REASON: Signal works
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Swarkestone Road Southbound – Circumnavigate the Bonnie Prince Roundabout – Swarkestone Road Northbound

WHEN: 14 August 2023 to 25 August 2023 (07.00 to 19.00hrs Daily)
WHERE: Deep Dale Lane, from its junction with of Wragley Way to its junction with Glentress Drive, an approximate length of 80 metres. Access to properties to be maintained.
REASON: Re-construction of carriageway
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wragley Way – Stenson Road – Twyford Road (A5132) – Sinfin Lane – Deep Dale Lane and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CONSTABLE DRIVE, DERBY
WHEN: 08 August 2023 to 11 August 2023
WHERE: Constable Drive, at its junction with Burton Road
REASON: Electric works
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Constable Drive – Crich Avenue – Crich Circle – Lawn Heads Avenue – Burton Road And the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CORONATION AVENUE, DERBY
WHEN: 29 August 2023 to 08 September 2023
WHERE: Coronation Avenue, from its junction with Holt Avenue to outside number 22 – a distance of approximately 25 metres
REASON: Drainage works
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Coronation Avenue – Shardlow Road – Bembridge Drive – Coronation Avenue and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CAMDEN STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 14 August 2023 to 05 November 2023
WHERE: Camden Street, from its junction with Boundary Road to its junction with Drewry Lane.
REASON: Highway Maintenance – Rebuild Cemetery wall
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Camden Street – Boundary Road – Uttoxeter New Road – Mercian Way – Abbey Street – Boyer Street – Bramfield Avenue – Dean Street – Amy Street – Upper Boundary Road and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON KEYS STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 11 September 2023 to 14 September 2023
WHERE: Keys Street, between number 8 and number 14 – a distance of approximately 20m
REASON: Drainage works
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Keys Street – Alice Street – Nottingham Road – Robert Street – Keys Street and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CHANDOS POLE STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 21 August 2023 to 28 August 2023
WHERE: Chandos Pole Street, at its junction with Ashbourne Road
REASON: Drainage works
TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashbourne Road – Noel Street – Payne Street Chandos Pole Street and the same in the opposite direction
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised Derby City Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.
