Beeston - Temporary Prohibition To Carry Out Carriageway Patching Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(WATERLOO ROAD, MALLARD COURT & KINGFISHER CLOSE, BEESTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2023
(BX23-080)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Beeston in the Borough of Broxtowe.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following lengths of road as listed in paragraph 3.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (both sides, 07:30- 17:00) in the following lengths of road as listed in paragraph 3.
3. Waterloo Road, Beeston - from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Kingfisher Close
Mallard Court - for its whole length
Kingfisher Close - for its whole length
4. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
5. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:30 Hours on Monday 7th August 2023
Until 17:00 hours on Friday 11th August
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
No Alternative route available.
The Order will come into force on 7th August 2023 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out carriageway patching works.
