What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL

(KELHAM ISLAND AND NEEPSEND) (ON STREET PARKING PLACES,
LOADING BAYS, PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING)
(MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 3 August 2023 Sheffield City Council made the above Order which comes into operation on 7 August 2023 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time on parts of Acorn Street, Alma Street, Ball Street, Bardwell Road, Boyland Street, Bowling Green Street, Burton Road, Cornish Street, Cotton Mill Row, Cotton Street, Dixon Street, Douglas Road, Dun Fields, Dun Lane, Dun Street, Ebenezer Place, Ebenezer Street, Green Lane, Harvest Lane, Hicks Street, Kelham Island, Kelham Square, Lancaster Street, Manners Street, Mowbray Street, Neepsend Lane, Platt Street, Penistone Road (Service Road), Percy Street, Russell Street, Rutland Road, Rutland Street, Rutland Way, Rowland Street, South Parade, Wallace Road, Ward Street, Wilson Street and Woodside Lane;
Pay and Display Parking 8:00am to 8:30pm on parts of Alma Street, Ball Street, Bowling Green Street, Cornish Street, Dixon Street, Dun Fields, Dun Street, Ebenezer Place, Ebenezer Street, Green Lane, Penistone Road (Service Road), Percy Street, Russell Street and South Parade.
No loading at any time on part of Penistone Road (Service Road);
No loading Mondays to Fridays 7:30am to 9:30am and 4:00pm to 6:30pm on parts of Rutland Road, Rutland Way and Neepsend Lane;
No loading Mondays to Saturdays 8:00am to 9:30am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm on part of Alma Street;
Loading only bays on parts of Alma Street and Mowbray Street;
Car Club parking spaces on part of Dun Street;

And remove:

Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time on parts of Acorn Street, Alma Street, Ball Street, Bowling Green Street, Burton Road, Cornish Street, Cotton Mill Row, Cotton Street, Dun Fields, Dun Street, Dun Lane, Ebenezer Place, Ebenezer Street, Globe Works Service Road, Green Lane, Hillfoot Bridge, Kelham Island (including Kelham Square), Lancaster Street, Neepsend Lane, Russell Street, Rutland Road, Rutland Way, South Parade and Ward Street;
No Waiting Mondays to Saturdays 8:00am to 6:30pm on parts of Acorn Street, Alma Street, Bardwell Road, Bowling Green Street, Boyland Street, Burton Road, Dixon Street, Dun Fields, Dun Street, Ebenezer Street, Green Lane, Hicks Street, Platt Street, Rowland Street, Russell Street and Ward Street;
No Waiting Mondays to Saturdays 7:30am to 6:30pm on parts of Burton Road and Harvest Lane;
No loading at any time on part of Globe Works Service Road;
No loading Mondays to Saturdays 8:00am to 9:30am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm on parts of Alma Street;
Limited waiting parking on parts of Acorn Street, Alma Street, Ebenezer Street and South Parade;
Loading only bays on part of Alma Street and Mowbray Street;
No waiting and no loading Mondays to Fridays 7:30am to 9:30am and 4:00pm to 6:30pm on parts of Burton Road, Harvest Lane and Mowbray Street.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 3 August 2023 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
