(STREET END ROAD CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable engineers to carry out telecomsmunications work needing a crane to lift a new pole into place -
Street End Road Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the
junction with Stonecross Lea and for a distance of 40 metres in an easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Wayfield Road, Walderslade Road, Princes Avenue and North Dane Road.
This Order will come into force on Friday, 1 September 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 1 September 2023 and are programmed for completion within two days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(FOUR ELMS HILL CHATTENDEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect
of which will be to impose a temporary speed limit for safety reasons whilst
engineers are working on the highway -
Four Elms Hill Chattenden - The temporary 40mph speed limit will be as an
extension to the existing 40mph speed limit that extends from Peninsula Way
roundabout to just southwest of Beacon Hill Lane.
This Order will come into force on Sunday, 6 August 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Sunday, 6 August 2023 and are programmed for completion within one month. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CHATHAM) (PARKING PLACES AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS)
(AMENDMENT NO. 26A) ORDER 2023
NOTICE OF MAKING
Albany Road, Barberry Avenue, Bournville Avenue, Glenwood Close, Highgrove Road, Holland Road, Hopewell Drive, James Street, King George Road, Sherwood Avenue, Swallow Rise, Vale Drive, Victoria Road
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council on 28 July 2023 made the abovementioned Order under sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the Order, which comes into operation on 10 August 2023 will be to introduce lengths of No Waiting (single or double yellow lines) in the affected roads as detailed below:
a) Albany Road – 1.9m north-east and 5m south-west of the Victoria Rd junction, north-west side;
b) Barberry Avenue – (a) Extend the double yellow lines north-east of Crescent Way junction by 5m, north-west side; (b) 22.8m from outside No.66’s driveway to outside No.60’s driveway, north-west side; (c) 5m opposite Crescent Way junction, south-east side;
c) Bournville Avenue – 32m from west of the car park entrance extending
eastwards to the 2nd dropped kerb of No.1, north side;
d) Glenwood Close – (a) north-westwards from Hopewell Drive junction, 12.2m on the north-east side and 10.6m on the south-west side; (b) single yellow line operating 8am-6pm, on the remaining north-east side length;
e) Highgrove Road – 12m northwards from the Swallow Rise junction, west side;
f) Holland Road – 21.1m from outside No.58 to No.52’s driveway, west side;
g) Hopewell Drive – (a) 7.5m north-eastwards and 10m south-westwards of the Kingsdale Court junction, south-east side; (b) 10m north-eastwards and 9.2m south-westwards of the Glenwood Close junction, north-west side; (c) 26.8m single yellow line operating Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, south-east side adjacent to the Marmox entrance; (d) 19.5m single yellow line operating Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, north-west side opposite the Marmox entrance;
h) James Street – extend double yellow lines north-eastwards by 8.3m opp. Rhode St car park exit;
i) King George Road – east side, (a) 16m between No.133 and 137’s driveway;
(b) 9m from outside No.131 northwards to outside No.127; (c) 64.8m from the access road to Sindal Shaw House southwards to opposite the existing double yellow lines south of Campion Close;
j) Sherwood Ave – 7.5m northwards and 7.5m southwards of the access road by No.24, west side;
k) Swallow Rise - 30.2m westwards from Highgrove Rd junction up to No.53’s driveway, north side;
l) Vale Drive – (a) extend the double yellow lines by 3m opposite Amethyst
Drive junction, north-west side; (b) extend the double yellow lines by 3m
south-westwards of Amethyst Drive junction, north-west side; (c) extend the
double yellow lines by 4m south-westwards of Amethyst Drive junction, southeast side; (d) extend the double yellow lines by 4m north-eastwards of the roundabout, front of No.7, north-west side; (e) extend the double yellow lines by 6.5m north-eastwards of the roundabout, front of No.2c, south-east side;
m) Victoria Road – (a) 5.5m north-westwards from Albany Road junction, north-east side; (b) 6.1m north-westwards from Albany Road junction, south-west side.

Persons wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the above date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

HALLING)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a gas main to be replaced -
Meadow Close and Meadow Crescent, Upper Halling - to be closed to all
vehicular traffic (a) in Meadow Close for the entire length and (b) in Meadow
Crescent for the entire length. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Emergency access will be maintained.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 September 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence in Meadow Crescent on or after Monday, 4 September 2023 and Meadow Close on 2 October 2023 and are programmed for completion by 6 November 2023. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.28) ORDER 2023
NOTICE OF PROPOSALS
Boundary Road, Chatham ME4 6UW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council proposes to make the abovementioned Order under sections 1, 2, 45, 46, 53 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Amendment Order will be to remove the parking bay outside No.126 Boundary Road, Chatham, to accommodate a new dropped kerb and vehicle crossing for driveway access.
Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing by email to TROconsult@medway.gov.uk or by post to “Parking Design Team” at the address specified in the paragraph below or by Friday, 25 August 2023, stating name, address and grounds for objection or support.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a gas main to be replaced -
Byron Road and Milton Road Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between between the junction with Milton Avenue and the junction with Rock Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Byron Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 14 August 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new fibre optic cable to be installed -
Lower Bloors Lane Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from across the frontage of Hoskins Cottage to the junction with Lower Rainham Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 7 August 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 7 August 2023 and are programmed for completion within two weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
