What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (CONTROL OF ON-STREET PARKING) (No. 1) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bracknell Forest Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

Effects of the Order:

The effects of the Order are to introduce the new restrictions as detailed in Schedule 1; All of the remaining waiting restrictions, loading/unloading restrictions, stopping restrictions and disabled parking spaces within the Borough of Bracknell Forest will remain unchanged and will be consolidated into this new Order.

Orders to be Consolidated into this Order and revoked:

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Control of On-Street Parking) (No.1) Order 2022 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 1) Order 2022 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 1) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Brants Bridge, Broad Lane, Martins Lane, Northampton Close & Sycamore Rise, Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2022 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Market Street, Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Crowthorne Road North, Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety. Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Unnamed Roads (Winchester House), Bracknell) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Objections: Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, should be sent in writing to Neil Mathews, Assistant Director - Highways & Transport, Bracknell Forest Council, Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1JD or via e-mail highways.transport@bracknell-forest.gov.uk to be received by him no later than the 1st September 2023.

SCHEDULE 1

Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time

Ravenswood Avenue Eastern side - From a point 15 metres south if its junction with Bembridge Court northwards for a distance of 30 metres.

Bembridge Court Both sides - From its junction with Ravenswood Avenue eastwards for a distance of 5 metres.

Juniper Both sides - From a point 8 metres north-west of the north-western boundary of no. 162 Juniper north-westwards for a distance of 6 metres.

Ringmead North-west side - From a point 15 metres south-east if its junction with Ringwood north-westwards for a distance of 40 metres.

Ringwood Both sides - From its junction with Ringmead north-eastwards for a distance of 10 metres.

Watersplash Lane Both sides - From its junction with the footway leading to Marne Close southwards for a distance of 15 metres.

Bagshot Road West side - From its junction with A322 Bagshot Road southwards (service road) for a distance of 90 metres.

Watersplash Lane Both sides - From its junction with The Splash eastwards for a distance of 29 metres.

All distances are approximate and, where applicable, are taken from the centre of the stated junctions.
