Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn, sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y darn hwnnw o ffordd o'r blwch post i Bentref Cynwyd yn Sir Ddinbych sy'n ymestyn i gyfeiriad y gorllewin o'r gyffordd a'r B4401 am oddeutu 554 metr.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso'r gwaith o roi wyneb newydd ami gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr ar gael drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y llwybr amgen ar hyd y B4401, A5, Ffordd Gwerglas i'r Blwch Post, Pen y Geulan i'r Blwch Post, a'r gyffordd a Phont Dyfrdwy i gyffordd Tyn y Wern.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 14 Awst 2023 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu nes bo'r gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith barhau tan tua 22 Awst 2023.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

GPO TO CYNWYD VILLAGE

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of road from GPO to Cynwyd Village Cynwyd in the County of Denbighshire which extends westward from its junction with B4401 for a distance of approximately 554 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via B4401, A5, Gwerglas Road to GPO box, Pen y Geulan to GPO box, and junction with Pont Dyfrdwy to Tyn y Wern junction.

The Order is effective from 14th August 2023 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 22nd August 2023.
