What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5009

SIR ALF RAMSEY WAY, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5009 Sir Alf Ramsey Way, Ipswich from the junction with Portman Road to the junction with Constantine Road to facilitate safe crowd control during Ipswich Town Open Day. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Portman Road, Princes Street, the A137, Constantine Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/08/2023 from 8am - 12pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1078

ASHBOCKING ROAD AND U4719 CHURCH ROAD, HEMINGSTONE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1078 Ashbocking Road from 1275 metres east of the junction with Stonewell Hill for 90 metres eastbound and the U4719 Church Road, Hemingstone from the junction with Ashbocking Road for 90 metres northbound to facilitate safe access to telegraph poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A140, the A1120, the B1077 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/08/2023 from 10am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U8304 CHURCH ROAD, MILDEN

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8304 Church Road, Milden from Rectory Comer to Rushbrooks to facilitate overhead cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Road, Swingleton Hill, the B1115, Powney Street, Church Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/08/2023 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7228

CAINS HILL, STOKE BY CLARE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7228 Cains Hill, Stoke by Clare from 800 metres east of the junction with Boyton End for 285 metres eastbound to facilitate replacing pole and overhead cabling. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Boyton End, the A1092 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/08/2023 -03/08/2023 from 9am - 4pm. If necessary, the order may remain In force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6048

HEREWARD AVENUE. MILDENHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6048 Hereward Avenue, Mildenhall from the junction with North Place for 30 metres south eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Fleming Avenue and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/08/2023 -05/08/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U6448

HEPWORTH ROAD, STANTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6448 Hepworth Road, Stanton to facilitate footway works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A143 Bury Road, Old Bury Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/0672023 - 09/08/2023 from 9am - 4pm but. if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC

ON PART OF THE U1548 SCHOOLHALL LANE, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1548 Schoolhall Lane, Bury St Edmunds from 45 metres east of the junction with Garland Street for 20 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. (Southbound) Garland Street, Looms Lane, Northgate Street and no vice versa

2. (Northbound) Northgate Street, Cadney Lane, Cannon Street, Garland Street and no vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of one-way traffic on the U1548 Schoolhall Lane, Bury St Edmunds.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 02/08/2023 - 04/08/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
