Jacobs Alley, Temporary Footpath Closure Due To Works On The Road
What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE - JACOBS ALLEY, BASINGSTOKE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: That part of Jacobs Alley between its junction with London Street and its junction with Jacobs Yard.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: London Street, Castons Walk
DURATION OF ORDER: From 15th August 2023 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 28 days between the hours 08:00 -17:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
