What is happening?

The Council of The London Borough of Redbridge The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. *) Order 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 of the Greater London Council Act 1972 and Sections 6,45,46,49 and 121A and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:

1. Install double yellow lines; i) outside; Nos. 36 to 38 Pershore Close IG2; Nos. 203 and 205 Fullwell Avenue IG5; Nos. 70 and 72 Langham Drive RM6; Nos. 2 and 4 Joydon Drive RM6; Nos. 294, 296, 298, 300 Green Lane IG3; ii) opposite; the exit road from King George Hospital in Barley Lane IG3; Nos. 34 to 38 Westwood Road IG3; iii) outside and adjacent to No. 1 Meads Lane IG3; iv) across the access to Nos. 74 to 80 Langham Drive RM6; v) Outside and opposite No. 37 St Francis Way IG1 and at the junction opposite No. 21 St. Francis Way IG1; vi) at the junctions of; Balfour Road and Dunedin Road IG1; Brisbane Road and Wellesley Road IG1; Auckland Road and Brisbane Road IG1; Perth Road, Perth Terrace IG2, Coventry Road and Balfour Road IG1; Granville Road and Wellesley Road IG1; Dunedin Road and Thorold Road IG1; Melbourne Road and Coventry Road IG1; Thorold Road and Brisbane Road IG1; Brisbane Road and Coventry Road IG1; Balfour Road and Brisbane Road IG1; Bute Road, South Cross Road and Loudon Avenue IG6; vii) at the side of; No. 84 St. Marys Road in Connaught Road IG1; Nos. 40 and 61 Stanley Road in Connaught Road IG1; No. 298 Green Lane in South Park Drive IG3; No. 24 Perth Road in Perth Terrace IG2; No. 44 Belmont Road in Sunnyside Road IG1 viii) at the rear of; No. 627 High Road in Telegraph Mews IG3; x) opposite the access to Loxford Leisure Centre in Loxford Lane IG1;

2. Install single yellow lines; i) operating Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm outside; No. 8 Salisbury Road IG3; No. 15 Cleveland Road IG1; No. 60 Otley Drive IG2; outside No. 5 North Road IG3; opposite the side of No. 491 High Road in Elizabeth Avenue IG1; ii) operating Monday to Friday 2pm to 3pm outside No. 8 Sydney Road IG6;

3. Install Loading Only Bays; i) operating Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 5.30pm with a maximum stay of 30 minutes and no return within 2 hours at the side of No. 648 Cranbrook Road in Bute Road IG6;

4. Install shared use Loading Only Bay operating Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm with a maximum stay of 30 minutes and no return within 2 hours and Payment Parking Bay Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 6.30pm and Saturday to Sunday 8.30am to 6.30pm (Tariff D) in Henley Road IG1 adjacent to No. 257 llford Lane;

5. Install Payment Parking Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 1 hour at the rear of Mill House in Prior Road IG1 (Tariff D);

6. Revoke footway parking opposite the exit road from King George Hospital in Barley Lane IG3;

7. Convert disabled residents parking bay to Payment Parking Bay (Tariff B) operating Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 1 hour at the side of No. 14 Thorold Road in Adelaide Road IG1;

8. To amend the existing residents permit holders parking restrictions in Foremark Close IG6 so that they operate Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm;

9. Convert single yellow line to 2-wheel pavement parking place outside No. 18 Sydney Road IG6;

10. Install double yellow kerb blips (no loading at any time); opposite Nos. 1 and 3 South Park Drive IG3; at the side of Nos. 296 and 298 Green Lane in South Park Drive IG3; outside Nos. 294, 296, 298, 300 Green Lane IG3;

11. Revoke Business Holders Permit Parking outside No. 14 Connaught Road IG1 and convert existing single yellow lines to a Payment Parking Bay operating Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 1 hour (Tariff B) adjacent No. 14 Connaught Road IG1;

12. To make the following admin-based changes to bring the map-based order in line with the restrictions on site (no changes to made to site); i) Install no waiting and no loading at any time restrictions; on the entirety of the access road between Castleton Road and Kinfauns Road IG3; outside and adjacent to No. 144 Castleton Road IG3; outside and adjacent to no. 127 Kinfauns Road IG3; ii) install disabled parking bay outside bingo hall in Fairlop Road IG6; iii) install double yellow lines outside nos. 32 to 36 Pershore Close IG2;

13. Revoke; i) existing underlying waiting and parking restrictions at all locations mentioned in sections 1 to 5 (inclusive of) and section 12 of this notice (inclusive of); ii) existing underlying loading restrictions at all locations mentioned in section 10 of this notice.

A copy of the Order, the map schedule and map schedule legend indicating the location and the effect may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, llford IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays). Any representation in relation to the proposed Orders must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent to the council by email to: parking.schemes@redbridge.gov.uk or by writing to: Parking Design team, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, llford, IG1 1NY (quoting reference LBR. 2023/T15), within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
