Old Mill Street - Road Traffic Regulation to Construct a Controlled Parallel Zebra Crossing
What is happening?
Manchester City Council Zebra, Pelican And Puffin Pedestrian Crossings Regulations And General Direction 1997 Proposed Parallel Zebra Crossing, Old Mill Street, Manchester.
NOTICE is hereby given that Council of the City of Manchester, in exercise of its powers under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, proposes to construct a controlled (Parallel) zebra crossing on Old Mill Street, Manchester. Parallel (zebra) Crossing - 6 m wide, 3.6 m in length, zig-zags extending to 14m NE and to 22.5m SW of the mid point of the crossing on: Old Mill St (north east bound carriageway).
The mid point of the crossing will be located 17 m SW of its junction with Weybridge Road Parallel (zebra) Crossing - 6 m wide, 3.6 m in length, zig-zags extending to 22.5m NE and to 22.5m SW of the mid point of the crossing on: Old Mill St (south west bound carriageway).
The mid point of the crossing will be located 25m SW of Weybridge Road The relevant plans and a statement of the reasons for the proposals may be inspected by appointment at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday. Please note due to Covid the Customer Service Centre is closed until further notice.
