What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
HULL PRIDE PARADE (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council have made an Order by virtue of S.16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as inserted by Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994).
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Savile Street from 08:00-08:00, Princes Dock Street from 08:00- 20:00, Wellington Street from 08:00-11:30, Humber Place from 08:00-11:30 for their full lengths, Queen Street from Humber Street to Wellington Street from 11:00-11:30 and the Carr Lane Crossing onto Victoria Square for a period of 15 minutes from 11:30-11:45, Kingston upon Hull with the exception of those vehicles listed below.
The purpose of the Order is to facilitate the holding of Hull Pride Parade.
The Order will take efect at 08:00 on 29/07/2023, and will continue in force until 30/07/2023.
The alternative route for both northbound and southbound vehicles is via will be signposted on the day. Diversion signs will be in place.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles at all times.
Access will be maintained for residents and local businesses at all times.
The closure will be completed by midnight on 30/07/23
