What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL
(RYEHILL GARDENS AREA) (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY
ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2023 – TEMP/23/162
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a
temporary period, to facilitate footway resurfacing works, no
person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any
vehicle on Ryehill Gdns, from its jnct with Ryehill Ter, southeastwards to the north-western kerbline of Ryehill Grv; & (b)
except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or
permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any
vehicle on (i) Ryehill Gdns: (1) nth-east side, from its jnct
with Ryehill Ter, south-eastwards to the south-eastern
kerbline of Barleyhill Ter; & (2) sth-west side, from its jnct
with Ryehill Ter, south-eastwards to the north-western
kerbline of Ryehill Grv; (ii) Ryehill Ter: (1) nth side, from the
west property boundary of No. 23, north-eastwards for 60m;
& (2) sth side: (1) from the north-eastern kerbline of Ryehill
Gdns, north-eastwards for 25m; & (2) from the south-western
kerbline of Ryehill Gdns, south-westwards for 25m; (iii)
Ryehill Grv: (1) nth side, from the south-western kerbline of
Ryehill Gdns, south-westwards for 25m; & (2) sth side, from
its jnct with Barleyhill Ter, south-westwards for 30m; & (iv)
Barleyhill Ter: (1) nth side, from the north-eastern kerbline of
Ryehill Gdns, north-eastwards for 25m; & (2) sth side, from its
jnct with Ryehill Grv, north-eastwards for 25m. The Order shall
have effect from 3/8/23 to 14/9/23. The alternative route for
vehicular traffic is via Ryehill Ter, Ryehill Ave & Ryehill Grv.
Existing restrictions may be suspended on the affected
sections of roads described in (b).
