What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(CLAYBANK STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Claybank Street from its junction with Bamford Road for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate gas works.
The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 7th August 2023 until 18.00 hours on 20th August 2023 or until the works are complete, whichever is the sooner.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bamford Road, West Starkey Street, George Street, Peel Lane, Claybank Street and vice versa.
(BOWNESS ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along Bowness Road from its junction with Windermere Road to its junction with Searness Road.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway repairs.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16.30 hours each day from the 14th August 2023 until 30th August 2023 as required.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Windermere Road, Wood Street, Bowness Road and vice versa.
(BURNS STREET AND HALL STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along;
I. Burns Street from its junction with Manchester Street for a distance of 45 metres in a south westerly direction,
II. Hall Street from its junction with Manchester Street for a distance of 30 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the laying of a new water main and to allow for new connections onto the main.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on 14th August 2023 until 18.00 hours on 21st August 2023.
Only one road will be closed at any one time.
The alternative route for vehicles wishing to access Burns Street will be via Manchester Street (A6046), Hardfield Street, Schofield Street, Burns Street and vice versa.
The alternative route for vehicles wishing to access Hall Street will be via Manchester Street (A6046), Hardfield Street, Schofield Street, Hall Street and vice versa.
(BOSWELL WAY, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and waiting at any time along Boswell Way for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate Carriageway repair works.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16.30 hours each day from the 31st July 2023 until 2nd August 2023 as required.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Touchet Hall Road, Finlan Road and vice-versa.
(KINGSLEY ROAD AND CHAUCER ROAD, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and waiting at any time along;
I. Kingsley Road, for its entire length,
II. Chaucer Road, for its entire length,
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of new Traffic Calming Measures onto the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09.00 hours until 16.00 hours each day from the 31st July 2023 until 11th August 2023 as required. There is no alternative route for vehicles.
