What is happening?

Notice of Application to Vary Premises Licence made under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Please take notice that Abbeyvalley Limited has made an application to North Devon District Council to Vary the Premises Licence in respect of Snug & Hyde, 36 High Street, Ilfracombe, Devon EX34 9DA.

The Proposed variation is as follows:
Extension of the hours of opening and licensable activities including late night refreshment. The relevant licensable activities and proposed times to be varied.

The retail sale of alcohol for consumption on premises.
Sundays to Thursdays 00:00 - 00:30, Fridays to Saturdays 00:00 - 2:30. Christmas Eve 00:00 - 2:30, New Year’s Eve 00:00 - 2:30.

The retail sale of alcohol for consumption off premises
Sundays to Thursdays 00:00 - 00:30, Fridays to Saturdays 00:00 - 2:30. Christmas Eve 00:00 - 2:30, New Year’s Eve 00:00 - 2:30.

The provision of regulated entertainment
Sundays to Thursdays 00:00 - 00:30, Fridays to Saturdays 00:00 - 2:30. Christmas Eve 00:00 - 2:30.

The provision of late-night refreshment
Sundays to Thursdays 00:00 - 00:30, Fridays to Saturdays 00:00 - 01:30. Christmas Eve 00:00 - 01:30. New Year’s Eve 00:00 - 01:30.

Opening Hours
Sundays to Thursdays 00:30 - 01:00, Fridays to Saturdays 00:30 - 03:00. Christmas Eve 00:30 - 03:00. New Year’s Eve 00:30 - 03:00.

Representations can be made within 28 consecutive days starting the day after receipt of the application by the Council. To be considered representations must be received by the Council by 14th August 2023.

Note: It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
