A6075 Debdale Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Driving to Enable Cadent Gas to Carry Out Gas Mains Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A6075 DEBDALE LANE, MANSFIELD WOODHOUSE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023 (M23-077)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield Woodhouse in the District of Mansfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road: A6075 Debdale Lane (south-east side) (southwest bound only) - from its junction with Sherwood Street to its junction with The Sidings (traffic only allowed to travel in a north-east bound direction).
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:00 hours on Monday 7th August 2023 Until 17:00 hours on Friday 25th August 2023
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
A6075 Welbeck Road - A60 Leeming Lane South - A60 Woodhouse Road - A6191 Chesterfield Road South - A6075 Debdale Lane and vice-versa.
The Order will come into force on 7th August 2023 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out gas mains works.
