What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
WILLERBY ROAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Willerby Road, between Wymersley Road and Calvert Road, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during essential carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take efect on 14th August 2023, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 6 days (subject to change, depending on weather and plant breakdown).
