Village Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Connection Works

Somerset Council Parish of Hatch Beauchamp Temporary Closure of Village Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Village Road - from 290 metres south of the junction with Bickenhall Lane, southwards for a total distance of 104 metres. This Order will enable Mike Ford Groundwork to carry out sewer connection work. The Order becomes effective on 20th July 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 29th July 2023 and last until 7th August 2023 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 10 days.
