What is happening?

Gloucestershire County Council Temporary Closure C1 Sedbury Lane (Tidenham Parish) Forest Of Dean District 
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C1 Sedbury Lane from its junction with A48 to outside the property known as Meads Farm for a distance of approximately 300 metres.  The reason for the closure is for tree surgery works. The road is expected to be closed between 09:00 and 17:00 each day from 24th July 2023 until 28th July 2023 only or until the works have been completed.  For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk. Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C50 Watery Lane from its junction with The Tythings to its junction with Bradfords Lane for a distance of approximately 342 metres.  The reason for the closure is for the Installation of foul and surface water sewer  connections for a new development. The road is expected to be closed from the 24th July 2023 until the 13th October 2023 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. The roads are expected to be closed and restricted at various times on a rolling programme commencing 7th August 2023 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 21st November 2023. Temporary Closure 50052 Howells Lane (Awre Parish) Forest Of Dean District 
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intend to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 50052 Howells Lane from its junction with the A48 to outside the property known as The Old Inn for a distance of approximately 441 metres.  The reason for the closure is to ensure a safe working zone whilst pole replacement works  are undertaken. The road is expected to be closed between 09:30 and 15:30 on 8th August 2023 only or until the works have been completed. Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath Ews 63 (Westbury On Severn Parish) Forest Of Dean District 
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath EWS 63 from its junction with Public Footpath EWS 58 in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 645 metres to its junction with EWS 125 (“the Footpath”).  The Footpath falls within the Parish of Westbury on Severn in the Forest of Dean District  within the County of Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while construction works relating the upgrading of the railway crossing are completed.  The Order will come into force from the 7th August 2023 at 06:00hrs. It is expected the Footpath will remain closed until 05:00hrs on the 11th August 2023. This Order can however remain in force for six months if necessary or until the above works are completed whichever is earlier. If a longer period of time is required, it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.  Alternative Route – as indicated on the Order Map by a dash black line marked A to B to C.
