OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(CITY OF OXFORD) (JERICHO) (PARKING PLACES AND CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) (VARIATION NO.29) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that on 10 July 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all enabling powers.

The effect of this order, which comes into force on 1 August is to continue the 'prohibition of waiting' specified in the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Broad Street and Observatory Street) (Prohibition of Waiting) Experimental Order 2022. The Broad Street element has previously been made permanent.

The effect of the Experimental order has been to remove the section of 2 hour permitted parking (Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm) adjacent to the Jericho Cafe in Observatory Street, to enable the retail use of customer tables and seating.

This variation order continues in force indefinitely the provisions of the Experimental Order and further amends the Oxfordshire County Council (City of Oxford) (Jericho) (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2000.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within 6 weeks from 10 July 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (CUMNOR & NORTH HINKSEY PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that on 10 July 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The order, which comes into force on 17 July introduces a 20mph speed limit in most of Cumnor village, North Hinksey parish and on the Farmoor side roads replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limits within the 'built-up' areas.

Additionally, a 30mph speed limit replaces the section of 40mph on the straight section on the B4044 Eynsham Road at Farmoor. The Oxfordshire County Council (Cumnor Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2021 is revoked/replaced.

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The proposals will further amend the following orders: The Oxfordshire County Council (North Summertown) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2007, Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford) (Lye Valley Area) (Restricted Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2016, Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Headington Northeast) (Controlled Parking Zone And Waiting Restrictions) Order 2022, Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Headington - The Lakes) (Controlled Parking Zone And Waiting Restrictions) Order 2023, Oxfordshire County Council (East Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone Waiting Restrictions and Traffic Management) Order 2010, The Oxfordshire County Council (Headington Quarry) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2006, the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Hollow Way North Area) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2020, and the Oxfordshire County Council Oxfordshire County Council (West Oxford and Osney Mead) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2009.

The effect of the proposals - in accordance with parking policy & planning permissions - is to amend the eligibility of the following properties to apply for Residents & Visitors Parking Permits as follows: 1. North Summertown - a) exclude the two new properties at No.15 Blandford Avenue from eligibility for resident's parking permits only. Visitor parking permits will remain available, b) exclude No.43 Davenant Road from eligibility for resident's parking permits only.

Visitor parking permits will remain available. Nos. 43A & 41F will remain eligible for both resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits.

2. Lye Valley - exclude No.1 Inott Furze from eligibility for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits,

3. Headington Northeast - exclude No.3 Barton Lane from eligibility for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits,

4. The Lakes - exclude No.60 Headley Way from eligibility for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits,

5. East Oxford - a) limit Nos.33,.35 & 37 Stockmore Street to apply for one resident's parking permit per property. Visitor parking permits will remain available, b) exclude Flat Nos.1-3 at No.30 Temple Street from eligibility for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits.

• Additionally, as a result of the re-development of Nos. 33, 35 & 37 Stockmore Street, a section of existing 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow line) parking restrictions will be removed, and the current 'Permit Holders Only' parking bay will be extended by 17 metres in its place.

6. Headington Quarry - allow No. 21 Binswood Avenue to apply for resident's parking permits & residents' visitors parking permits. Various administrative amendments are also proposed within the following CPZ orders:

Hollow Way North - an administrative amendment will be made to ensure that the wording within the current Schedule 6 for the 35-metre shared-use parking bay on James Wolfe Road (located 90 metres southeast of the junction with Hollow Way) reflects the existing signage on site. [i.e. A. 30 Minute Parking Places 8.00am to 4.00pm - Monday to Friday; B. Permit holders only - 4.00pm to 8.00am on the following day - Monday to Friday; C. Two-Hour Parking Places 8.00pm to 6.30pm - Saturday and Sunday (Permit Holders Are Exempt From Time Limit); D. Permit Holders Only -6.30pm to 8.00am on the Following Day - Saturday and Sunday]. There will be no changes to the current signed restrictions/parking provision on the ground.

8. West Oxford - there is a minor administrative correction in the description for a West Street parking place

9. Iffley Fields & 10. Magdalen Road Area South - there is a minor administrative correction of references to 3 properties in Iffley Road being moved from order 10 to order 9, with no changes to permit holders or parking.

(LONGCOT, SHRIVENHAM & WATCHFIELD) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the order - in support of road safety issues - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Longcot (excluding the B4508 Shrivenham/Fernham Road), replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in the process - leading outwards to the following points:

1. Fernham Road - its junction with the B4508 Fernham Road,

2. Kings Lane - a point 365 metres northwest of its junction with Kings Farm Close,

3. Mallins Lane - its junction with the B4508 Fernham Road,

4. Priory Mead - its junction with the B4508 Fernham Road,

5. Shrivenham Road - its junction with the B4508 Shrivenham Road. The Oxfordshire County Council (Longcot, Shrivenham & Watchfield) (Speed Limits) Order 2021 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. (SHELLINGFORD PARISH) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the order - in support of road safety issues - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Shellingford replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in the process - on the following roads:

1. B4508 Fernham Road - from a point 99 metres northeast of its junction with Church Street south-westwards for a distance of 656 metres,

2. Church Street - for its entire length.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Shellingford Parish) Order 2000 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. (LONGCOT, SHRIVENHAM & WATCHFIELD) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that on 10 July 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The order, which comes into force on 17 July introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Shrivenham, replacing the previous 30mph speed limit within the residential areas in their entirety, leading out of the town to the following points:

1. B4000 Highworth Road - a point 227 metres northwest of Sand Hill

2. B4000 Station Road - a point 136 metres south of Charlbury Road

3. Faringdon Road - a point 186 metres northeast of Days Ground

4. Longcot Road - a point 100 metres southeast of Ballingers

5. Stainswick Lane - a point 119 metres south of Fairthorne Way

6. Townsend Road - a point 10 metres southwest of Colton Road. The Oxfordshire County Council (Longcot, Shrivenham & Watchfield) (Speed Limits) Order 2021 is revoked/replaced.

(ROLLRIGHT PARISH) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the order - in support of road safety issues - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout the village of Great Rollright, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety in the process - leading outwards to the following points:

1. High Street:

a. Northern end - a point 20 metres north of its junction with Hook Norton Road,

b. Southern end - a point 83 metres south of its junction with South End

2. Hook Norton Road - a point 239 metres east of its junction with Church End,

3. The unnamed road running westwards from High Street to Hill Barn Farm - a point 20 metres west of its junction with High Street.

(OXFORD, ST CLEMENTS AREA) (BUS LANE AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that on 10 July 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above Experimental Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order, which comes into force on 31 July 2023 introduces a westbound bus lane (also permitting pedal cycles, legal E-scooters, taxis, and licensed private hire vehicles) on the A420 St Clements Street, London Place and Headington Hill. The proposed 24-hour bus lane will extend from a point approximately 186 metres northeast of the junction of with the B4150 Marston Road south-westwards to a point approximately 45 metres west of the junction with Jeune Street.

To accommodate the proposed bus lane, the parking places on the south side of St Clements Street east of Alma Lane will be removed (30 minute parking places 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday). Additionally, adjustments to cycle lane provision on both sides of the road will be made from the junction of Jeune Street/Boulter Street westwards to the signalled crossing west of Caroline Street. If the provisions (or any of them) of the experimental order are approved to become permanent after the statutory period, the measures will be incorporated by amendment into the Oxfordshire County Council (East Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone Waiting Restrictions and Traffic Management) Order 2010 (as amended) and the Oxfordshire County Council (City of Oxford and North Hinksey) (Bus Lanes, Cycle Lanes and Traffic Management) Order 2006 (as amended). If you wish to question the validity of the experimental order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within 6 weeks from 10 July 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Any person may object to the making of an Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation within a period of 6 months:

(a) beginning with the day on which the experimental Order came into force, or

(b) if the Order is varied by any subsequent order made by the Council, or modified by a Council Director pursuant to Section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification comes into force.

Any such objection must be in writing and state the grounds on which it is made and all objections and other representations must be sent to the address given below within the relevant time period given above.
