What is happening?
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH
B4210 ELMORE GREEN ROAD, ELMORE ROW, CLARENDON STREET, CROXDENE AVENUE AND PARKER STREET, BLOXWICH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding in that length of; · Elmore Row that is situated at its junction with B4210 Elmore Green Road · Clarendon Street that is situated at its junction with B4210 Elmore Green Road. · Croxdene Avenue that is situated at its junction with B4210 Elmore Green Road · Parker Street that is situated at its junction with Croxdene Avenue · B4210 Elmore Green Road that is situated from its junction with A34 High Street to its junction with A4124 Bell Lane. This Order will come into operation on Monday 24 July 2023 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier. The Traffic Regulation Order is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Walsall Council can undertake a highway improvement scheme in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. It is expected that Elmore Row will be closed from 24 July to 11 August. Croxdene Avenue and Clarendon Street will be closed from 14 August to 1 September and B4210 Elmore Green Road will be closed for limited periods only between 4 and 15 September.
