(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in Berwick upon Tweed in the County of Northumberland:
U103 Magdalene Drive from its junction with Crispin Road heading in a north westerly direction for a length of 291 metres
U103 Bede Avenue from its junction with Magdalene Drive heading in a southerly direction for a length of 105 metres
The Order is to be effective from the 1st August 2023 until the 31st December 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st August 2023 until the 2nd August 2023 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st December 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Crispin Road, North Road and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for micro surfacing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
