FRASERBURGH – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (Buchan Road, Fraserburgh) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2023” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 14/07/23 for 6 months and will prohibit any person from driving on Buchan Road, Fraserburgh from Barra Crescent to Smiddyhill Road.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to a damaged manhole cover in carriageway and ground investigation works. An alternative route is available via Smiddyhill Road, Boothby Road and Buchan Road.
Details of the restriction can be viewed online at https:// online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/ apps/roadworks/ Any queries should be directed to Kevin Dingwall on 01467 534659.
