ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A444 GRIFF WAY/GRIFF ISLAND/COVENTRY ROAD, D1418 ST. GEORGES WAY, B4113 COVENTRY ROAD, D1588 ST. DAVIDS WAY, NUNEATON & A444 BEDWORTH BYPASS, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: A temporary 30 mph speed limit will be imposed as 
indicated below:

A444 Griff Way – North and Southbound carriageways between George Elliot Island and Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road).
A444 Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) – in its entirety.
A444 Bedworth Bypass – North & Southbound carriageways between Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) and Walsingham Drive Roundabout.
D1418 St. Georges Way – North & Southbound carriageways from A444 Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) to existing 30 mph signage.
B4113 Coventry Road – North and Southbound carriageways from Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) to existing 30 mph signage.
B4113 Coventry Road – North and Southbound carriageways between Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) and Gipsy Lane.
D1588 St. Davids Way – North and Southbound carriageways from Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) to Hamilton Way.

Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the contractors working on or near to the carriageway.
Order Commences: 31 July 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 August 2023.

A444 GRIFF WAY, A444 GRIFF ISLAND (A444 COVENTRY ROAD), D1418 ST. GEORGES WAY, B4113 COVENTRY ROAD, D1588 ST. DAVIDS WAY, NUNEATON, A444 BEDWORTH BYPASS, BEDWORTH AND B4029 NEW STREET, BULKINGTON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffc as follows: A444 Griff Way – North and Southbound carriageways between George Elliot Island and Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road), A444 Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) – in its entirety, A444 Bedworth Bypass – North & Southbound carriageways between Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) and Walsingham Drive Roundabout, D1418 St. Georges Way – in its entirety, B4113 Coventry Road – North and Southbound carriageways between Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) and entrance to Griff Caravan Site, B4113 Coventry Road – North and Southbound carriageways between Griff Island (A444 Coventry Road) and Gipsy Lane, D1588 St. 
Davids Way – North and Southbound carriageways between A444 Coventry Road and Hamilton Way.
Parking will be prohibited on B4029 New Street, Bulkington – between Rugby Road Roundabout and Winterton Road – both sides of the carriageway.
Weight Restriction Suspended on B4113 Coventry Road, Nuneaton from Coton Arches Island to Griff Island.
Reason for Order: Closures: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs. Parking Restrictions: To provide a safe diversion route. Suspension of Weight Limit: To enable access/egress to businesses on Coventry Road.
Order Commences: 31 July 2023 for 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 August 2023.
Access & Diversion: A444, A4254, B4114, B4112, B4029, B4113, A444 and vice versa. Whilst works are in progress there will be no access/egress for vehicular traffc to closed roads, however where possible access/egress to/from St. Georges Way will be maintained when safe to do so. Access/Egress will be restricted to/from Feather Lane, Cygnet Avenue, Swansnest Grove and Eider Close, Bermuda whilst works are being in progress. Access/Egress to St. Davids Way will be via Walsingham Drive only. Access/Egress to B4113 Coventry Road (Hill Top) will be via Coton Arches Island only. Access/Egress to Mount Pleasant/Collycroft/Whitestone will be via Rye Piece Ringway

CHANCERY LANE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffc between its junctions with Coleshill Road.
Reason for Order: To safely enable essential utility works.
Order Commences: 1 August 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 August 2023.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.
Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.
D14110 BRADESTONE ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from its junction with Red Deeps.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 2 August 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 August 2023.

D15400 WINTERTON ROAD, BULKINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffc between the junctions of New Street and Barnacle Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 3 August 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 August 2023.
Access & Diversion: New Street, School Street, Coventry Road, Chequer Street, Barnacle Lane and vice versa.

D11410 GRANBY ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffc between the junctions of Northumberland Avenue and Tomkinson Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 1 August 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 August 2023.
Access & Diversion: Tomkinson Road, Croft Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
